ABOUT US

At Victory Performance, we see our role in your performance/fitness enhancement journey as that of a mentor and coach.  We will provide a simple, safe, and effective program that will lead you to your established goals. We have extensive experience training a wide variety of athletes successfully for 9+ years in Folsom, El Dorado Hills, and Granite Bay and are committed to developing what we call “winning habits” in every one of our athletes. With these “winning habits”, comes greater confidence, stamina, game-day readiness, and an overall healthy lifestyle.

METHODOLOGY

Victory Performance Strength & Conditioning is focused on offering the most professional, effective, and comprehensive program possible. We are committed to helping our clients reach their optimum fitness and athletic performance potential while taking into consideration factors such as age, occupation, past injuries, activities of daily living, personal goals, and current fitness level. Tailored, individual plans will be formulated to identify and chart individual progress and achievements accomplished within an environment that is intended to be healthy, safe, and fun!

Meet Our Coaches

Robert Gray

Robert Gray

Head Coach

Coach Robert Gray was raised in Folsom where he developed his love for sports and competition at a young age. Coach Rob has a passion for giving back to the community that molded him and enjoys helping other people find happiness and fulfillment through health, fitness, and athletics.

Coach Rob’s passion for Strength and Conditioning grew as he begin to lift weights and explore ways to become more athletic for high school sports. After graduating from Folsom High School, he decided to pursue his new found passion. Coach Rob attended Bryan College and received a degree in Advanced Health & Fitness in 2010 before receiving a B.S. from California University of Pennsylvania in 2015. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Sports Performance and Injury Prevention.

While attending Bryan College in 2010, Robert began to train youth and high school athletes at the age of 20. A year later, in 2011, Robert began to coach youth football in Folsom and realize another passion of his, teaching/coaching. Since 2011, he has coached youth or high school football in Folsom, while growing what is now Victory Performance Strength & Conditioning. Coach Rob has poured his heart and soul into Victory Performance and he is eager to share is knowledge and experience to the members of this community!

Jacki Bateman

Assistant Coach / Personal Trainer

Coach Jacki Bateman was raised in El Dorado Hills, where her love for sports and competition began. Growing up she played a handful of different sports including: softball, soccer, water polo, and basketball. As someone who has struggled with weight management herself, Coach Jacki is passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, live a healthier lifestyle, and become the best version of themselves.

After graduating from Oak Ridge High School, she went on to play basketball for Menlo College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in sports management. In 2019, Coach Jacki became a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Coach Jacki is currently attending California University of Pennsylvania, working towards her master’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in sports performance and injury prevention.

Prior to becoming a personal trainer, Coach Jacki worked with kids during her time working for Redwood City Parks and Recreation, and as a coach with Hi-Five Sports in the Bay Area. Coach Jacki has always had a passion for the gym, but during college fell in love with strength and conditioning and the weight room atmosphere. Coach Jacki is eager to share with the members of this community her love for athletics, competition, health, and fitness.
